The WL series coaxial cables manufactured by Cavel – Italiana Conduttori are designed to provide maximum flexibility, low attenuation, and superior shielding in radio frequency (RF) applications.
Thanks to their advanced construction, they can operate up to 5.8 GHz, ensuring stable performance and easy handling during installation.
The range consists of five models with external diameters from 4.95 to 12.70 mm:
- WL195 – Ø 4.95 mm
- WL240 – Ø 6.10 mm
- WL300 – Ø 7.70 mm
- WL400 – Ø 10.30 mm
- WL500 – Ø 12.70 mm

- Foam polyethylene dielectric with nitrogen injection, featuring zero moisture absorption, high propagation velocity (80%), and minimal long-term degradation.
- High-performance dual shielding with multilayer aluminum tape and tinned copper braid, ensuring excellent mechanical resistance and interference protection.
- Reduced bending radius for easier installation.
- >90 dB shielding attenuation, approximately 50 dB higher than single-braid RG/U cables.
- Flexible braid that ensures perfect adhesion to the connector and provides reliable grounding.
Available Jacket Types
Depending on the installation environment, the WL series is available with three types of outer jackets:
- PE (Black Polyethylene) – For underground or outdoor installations. Excellent resistance to UV radiation, weather conditions, and temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.
- PVC (WLxxxN) – Greater flexibility for indoor use. Operating temperatures from -20°C to +70°C.
- LSZH (WLxxxZHN) – Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket, flame-retardant and halogen-free. Suitable for indoor or outdoor installations, UV resistant, with operating temperatures from -20°C to +80°C.
